Day 353 - Minimal Xmas lllustration: Rudolph the red nose rendeer

Today another Xmas oneliner.

Yesterday I posted the Christmas tree. Today I hesitated between Christmas balls, candles, and more.
At the end I decided to draw Rudolph the red nose rendeer. Just because he makes me smile :-)

Day 323 - Minimal graphic design: Delfts Blue Vase

In the collection of Delfts Blauw you have tiles, plates, jars, and of course vases.

As I have not made a vase yet, I decided to draw one. Not the traditional version, but a minimal, modern version of the vase. One that I would like to have in my house. How about you?

Day 320 - Graphic design: new illustration, Delfts Blauw

As you probalvy know, I am working on a new serie of illustrations, This one is inspired by Dutch traditional pottery: Delfts Blauw (Delft Blue).

Delfts Blauw is not only used for pottery, but also for tiles. They were used to cover the walls in the kitchen (the fireplace).

Today's illustration is my interpretation of these tiles. Enjoy!

Day 311 - Typical Dutch Design: my very own Delfts Blauw (Delft Blue)

Yesterday I told you about the classic Delfts Blauw pottery and the way i which it still inspires designers.

I decided to start my own Delfts Blauw project.
A serie of illustrations, minimalistic, in blue and white.

Day 307 - Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch

Today I visited the Stedelijk Museum in 's-Hertogenbosch, a town in the southern part of the Netherlands. The Museum moved recently to a new building, in the city centre. I really love the architecture. The photo below is taken in the corridor that leads you to the museum store.

As ypu know I follow a photography course. Each week we get a challenge.
The challenge for this week is 'lines'. And moreover it has to be abstract photography.

I made several photos. But I am not sure which one to choose.

Today, I finally had some to draw a new oneliner.

I choose to draw another perfume bottle. This one is my daughter's favorite perfume: Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.

Day 239 - Minimal graphic design: L'eau d'issey, perfume bottle

It 's so much fun to design minimal illustrations, so I decided to draw another one today.
Not that I had much time - I have lot's of work to do :-))

Today I designed this perfume bottle for you. Do you recognize it?
It's called  l'eau d'issey. I like the botlle a lot: simple and stylish.

Day 238 - Minimal graphic design

Back home after a wonderful summer holiday.

Today I worked on a new brochure and a new flyer.
And I found some time to design a new one-liner :-)

Day 237 - Creative and funny design: notebook beard

Today I searched for a note-sketchbook on the internet. And I found the one you see below.
Funny, crazy and very creative. The notebook beard: a lined pocket notebook that gives everybody access to a nice, thick beard.

I love it. The notebook is sold by coolmaterial.

Day 213 - Minimal graphic design: perfume by Chanel, Chance

Chance is a nice perfume, created by Chanel.

I do not only like the perfume, but also the bottle design, the colors and the name.
That's why it inspired me to make this minimal illustration.

The French word 'chance' means 'luck'.
Let's hope this perfume brings you lots of luck!

I just finished a new design for a cultural event, consisting of poster, add, banners, etc.

It is going to be nice, but I'm not showing it yet. You still have to wait a few weeks :-)

Today 's illustration is inspired by the restaurant I had lunch yesterday.
